Young Plantations was founded in 1920 in Florence by T.B. Young. The Young family started their business by shipping in-shell pecans.
Today, Young Plantations offers both retail and wholesale divisions of the company. Stop in the outlet store in Florence to sample a variety of scrumptious flavored pecans. The shop also carries a full line of SC food products including scuppernong cider, locally-grown fruit preserves, and mixes for shrimp and grits.
