Williams Vineyard & Farm

williams-vineyard-116x104

The Williams Vineyard and Farm is truly a distinctive experience. The family farm was purchased in 1924, and the home, built in 1934, is located amid five acres of muscadine grapes. This typical African American family farmsite also features free range chickens and the original orchard.

If you are looking for fresh muscadines, Williams Vineyard is the place to go. Step back in history when you tour the five acre vineyard filled with muscadines. Bring your family during the prime muscadine season, typically Mid-August to mid-September, to see what farm life was like for African Americans. You can even pick your own straight from the vine!

Be sure to stop by during their annual Muscadine Festival held over Labor Day weekend.
