The Lynches Scenic River section extends for 111 miles in Darlington, Florence, Lee and Sumter Counties – through farmlands, pine uplands, and deep swamp forests.

The river corridor provides a great habitat for river otters, white-tailed deer, and wood ducks. It’s an excellent river for fishing largemouth bass, redbreast sunfish, bluegill, catfish, and smallmouth bass.
