In between Murrells Inlet and Pawley’s Island sits a beautiful garden museum full of sculptures and natural art. Brookgreen Gardens is a 9,100 acre property with landscapes, aviaries and native animals.
Brookgreen Gardens is listed as a National Historic Landmark, and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Guided Tours, exhibits and programs are offered daily, but feel free to explore the gardens at your own pace.
You can also take a guided Creek Cruise on a pontoon boat along the historic rice fields as you learn about the cultivation of rice in the Low Country.
